Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst for Innovation Banking in Austin, TX. This role focuses on spreading, analyzing and maintaining financial background information on customers, and developing credit studies for loan decisions.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accounting course.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• An interest in working in Commercial Banking.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Spread, manage and maintain financial background information on customers and develop credit studies for loan decisions.
• Manage spread assignments, conduct financial analyses, and maintain related records and files.
• Prepare a variety of credit department reports.
• Support the Credit Administration team in analyzing credit and collateral information to determine risk.
• Collect, organize and analyze company financials for Bank compliance and update systems.
• Work with clients to resolve compliance issues and operational inquiries.
• Review client financials and perform sensitivity analysis to evaluate credit risk.
• Prepare in-depth reports with action plans based on qualitative and quantitative research.
• Collaborate with Bank groups to execute treasury management products and derivatives.
• Produce loan packages for new and restructured loans.
• Coordinate reporting with third parties (auditors, appraisers).
• Monitor loan disbursements to ensure regulatory compliance.
