A prestigious global law firm is seeking an Innovation Attorney to join its Technology & Information Services team. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney with a passion for AI, legal technology, and product innovation to help shape the future of legal service delivery.

You’ll serve as the product owner for AI-enabled legal applications, partnering closely with attorneys, practice groups, technology teams, and external vendors to develop, launch, and optimize cutting-edge legal technology solutions.

This role will be hybrid and can be located in NYC, DC, Chicago, Boston, or LA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of AI-enabled legal products from discovery through launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
• Partner with attorneys and business stakeholders to translate legal workflows into product requirements, user stories, and innovative technology solutions.
• Lead product pilots, user testing, feature evaluations, and proof-of-concept initiatives while gathering feedback and driving continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with internal technology teams, AI governance, and third-party vendors to prioritize enhancements and ensure successful product adoption.
• Monitor emerging AI technologies, legal tech trends, and product performance to continuously improve user experience and business value.

Qualifications:

• JD preferred (or equivalent experience in legal technology, product management, or legal innovation).
• 6+ years of experience in legal technology, product management, legal operations, legal innovation, or technology-enabled legal services.
• Experience working with AI platforms, legal technology, generative AI, or enterprise software solutions.
• Strong understanding of product ownership principles, including roadmap development, release management, user testing, stakeholder engagement, and adoption strategy.
