Job summary

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Florida is seeking an Inn Bar Back to support daily beverage operations and assist bartenders in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You will help keep bars stocked, clean, and ready for service while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the Beverage Manager and F&B Captain, you will handle inventory, setup, and break-down, and work varied day, night, and weekend shifts. A Food Handler certification is preferred and English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High-volume bartending experience preferred.
• Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
• Willingness to work day, night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong organizational and guest service skills.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders during high-volume service periods.
• Maintain stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies.
• Replenish ice and ensure bartenders have necessary supplies.
• Receive, transport, and stock beverage products.
• Set up and break down bar stations before/after service.
• Clean and organize bars, stations, storage, and equipment.

The Opportunity

Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking an Inn Bar Back to support daily beverage operations and assist bartenders in delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Reporting to the Beverage Manager and the F&B Captain on Duty, this position plays a key role in ensuring bars remain fully stocked, clean, organized, and operationally ready throughout service periods. The Inn Bar Back contributes directly to the member and guest experience by maintaining beverage inventory, supporting service efficiency, and upholding the resort's high standards of hospitality.

The Day-to-Day

• Support bartenders during high-volume food and beverage service periods.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies throughout each shift.
• Replenish ice bins and ensure bartenders have the supplies necessary to provide efficient service.
• Receive, transport, organize, and stock beverage products throughout the facility.
• Set up bar stations before service and assist with breakdown and closing duties at the end of each shift.
• Clean and organize bar areas, service stations, storage areas, coolers, and equipment to maintain sanitation and presentation standards.
• Remove empty bottles, trash, boxes, and other debris to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Ensure products are properly stored, rotated, and maintained according to operational standards.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and appearance standards throughout all beverage service areas.
• Provide courteous and professional service to members, guests, and fellow team members.
• Support beverage operations as directed by the F&B Captain on Duty and Beverage Manager.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support Food & Beverage operations.

• High-volume cocktailing and bartending experience preferred.
