Job summary

CoreCivic in Clifton, TN is seeking a Mental Health Coordinator to plan and provide non-medical clinical mental health services in the facility. You will perform screenings, develop treatment plans, and document activities in the health care record.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, at least five years of clinical experience, and licensure (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT). A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or related field.
• Five years of clinical experience including two years in a comparable role.
• State licensure such as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT required.
• Valid driver's license preferred unless contract dictates otherwise.

Responsibilities

• Conducts mental health screenings and assessments.
• Develops, implements and modifies individual treatment plans.
• Documents treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive materials and information.
• Demonstrates knowledge of counseling theory and techniques for caseloads.
• Provides appropriate mental health assessments, counseling and crisis interventions as needed.
