Job summary

CoreCivic is seeking a Mental Health Coordinator to plan and provide clinical mental health services to inmates. Eligible for up to 5% annual bonus. Salary range listed is $94,000–$103,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical field (Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling) from an accredited program.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable role.
• Must be licensed or certified (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments from records and inmate interviews.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluation.
• Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials at all times.
• Demonstrate knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques.
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling and crisis interventions.
