Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree: Behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
• OR Combination of education and experience providing knowledge of behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
• OR Four years of appropriate experience demonstrating knowledge of one or more behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provides management, guidance, and evaluation of assigned caseload; conducts intake interviews with inmates.
• Conducts Risk and Needs assessment to identify goals and link inmates with community services.
• Reclassifies inmates periodically to maintain custody levels and coordinates programming for pre-release inmates.
• Develops and implements planned programs to meet inmate needs and evaluates outcomes for rehabilitation.
