• 3+ years of P&C Commercial Carrier production underwriting experience.
• Inland Marine underwriting preferred and related expertise.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess underwriting information and complex risk; make recommendations to management.
• Maintain disciplined adherence to underwriting and service standards.
• Weigh decisions between underwriting standards and customer needs and expectations.
• Balance risk relative to return to make effective underwriting decisions.
• Assist in client meetings/agency calls.
• Develop marketing plans and strategies.
• Cultivate customer and producer relationships to promote Marine products and services.
• Share information to support product development, market research and cross-unit opportunities.
