Qualifications

• 3+ years of P&C Commercial carrier underwriting experience.
• Experience with Inland Marine, Property, Construction or related lines.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with goal-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal Inland Marine business per guidelines and authority.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents, brokers, and customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining a profitable portfolio.
• Analyze exposures, determine risk acceptability, and develop pricing and coverage strategies.
• Conduct agency, broker, and customer visits to strengthen relationships and risk understanding.
• Collaborate with underwriting, risk engineering, claims, and sales partners to deliver solutions.
• Manage an assigned portfolio to achieve growth, retention, and profitability objectives.
