Job summary

The Sheridan Group is seeking a Master Inkjet Technician to maintain, repair, and optimize ink jet systems, and to train staff on application equipment. The role emphasizes thorough documentation, safety, and collaborative problem-solving.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting ink jet heads, logging repairs, and producing setup and troubleshooting documentation. Overtime may be required; a $1,000 signing bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Experience in Printing, specifically Finishing operations.
• Proven mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in basic math and computer use.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and log all periodic maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair ink jet heads and related systems.
• Log repair history and maintain machine logbooks.
• Provide training for all shifts on ink jet application equipment.
• Test and qualify materials and supplies; build templates as needed.
