Job summary

The Sheridan Group in Plainfield, NH seeks a Master Inkjet Technician to maintain, repair, and optimize ink jet systems. You will train shifts, document procedures, and ensure material testing and qualification.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, ink jet head repairs, and logging repairs with PMs while supporting production line duties and strict safety practices. Strong finishing/printing background and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and log all periodic maintenance.
Troubleshoot and perform repairs on ink jet heads.
Log history of repairs and PMs, maintain a machine logbook.
Provide training for all shifts in ink jet application and print/label equipment.
Test and qualify materials and supplies.
Build templates as needed.
Manage fluid inventory and pass orders to purchaser.
Be available by phone for troubleshooting and on-call if needed.
Prepare step-by-step documentation for setup, use, and troubleshooting of inkjet units.
Train backups for 1st and 2nd shifts and keep them updated.
Demonstrate good housekeeping and support company core values.
Adhere to safety policies; assist with production line duties as needed.
