Job summary

Brook & Whittle LTD is seeking a dependable Production Employee for 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 10 hours, 5 am–3 pm) in Nashville, TN. The role combines Ink Technician duties with Press Support responsibilities in a safety-conscious manufacturing environment.

The position involves color matching, ink chemistry basics, equipment calibration, and collaboration with prepress and production teams to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assures ink color match meets customer requirements for all printed materials.
• Performs color matches including formulating and entering software database.
• Maintains ink and coatings inventory.
• Manages ink equipment function, machine calibration, and maintenance.
• Monitors ink usage and inventory.
• Mixes and proofs formulas and ensures database storage of all ink recipes
• Creates color standards.
• Toubleshoots ink and coating problems.
• Reads and understands job jacket.
• Mounts plates as required.
• Performs machine wash up with wash up cart following standard work procedures.
