Sun Chemical is seeking an on-site color matching and formulation technician to support ink production at a customer location in California. The role involves color matching, formulation, and maintaining detailed production records while coordinating with customer schedules.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential for a customer-facing position. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Outlook, and color-match software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook and dispensing and color match software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 3+ years industry experience.
• Customer-facing role with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and QC inks to meet specifications.
• Perform color matching and formulation.
• Maintain production and QC records.
• Coordinate with customer schedules for production.
• Identify rework opportunities from batch tickets.
• Provide press-side technical service and reporting.
• Maintain monthly/weekly reports to CTS and Sales.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and move 500 lb drums as required.
