Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking an Ink Inplant Tech II in Santa Fe Spring, CA, on 1st shift (8:00am-4:30pm). You will provide intermediate color matching, formulating, and small-batch blending support on-site at a customer location.

The role requires 3+ years in the inks industry, strong interpersonal skills for customer-facing work, and proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook and color matching software. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with MS Word/Excel/Outlook and color matching software.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs daily.
• 3+ years in the inks/printing industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills for a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Produce and QC inks to meet customer specs.
• Perform color matching and formulation.
• Maintain production and QC records.
• Support customer schedule through production coordination.
• Identify and execute rework opportunities from batch tickets.
• Provide press-side technical service and reporting.
• Maintain monthly/weekly reports to CTS and Sales.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations.
