Job summary

Sun Chemical is seeking an Ink Tech II Inplant to provide color matching, formulation, and small-batch blending on-site at a customer location. The role requires reliability, precise documentation, and coordination with production teams.

You will deliver press-side technical service, troubleshoot issues, and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards while supporting CTS and Sales with regular reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook; as well as dispensing and color match software.

Responsibilities

• Produce and quality control inks to meet or exceed the customer’s specifications.
• Perform color matching and formulation.
• Maintain detailed production and QC records.
• Support customer’s schedule through production coordination.
• Identify and execute rework opportunities based on batch tickets.
• Provide strong press-side technical service and detailed reporting.
• Maintain monthly and weekly reporting to CTS and Sales.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations.
• Lift up to 50 lb. and move 500 lb. drums following procedures.
