Job summary

HP Inc. is seeking an R&D Ink Chemist in Corvallis, Oregon to develop new ink formulations using empirical design and modeling methods.

You will contribute to inkjet ink design, characterize print attributes, and optimize inks for drop formation and printing processes. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with printer component designers and partners in a chemistry center of excellence across sites, including Corvallis.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field.
• Understanding of fundamental chemical mechanisms.
• Proficiency with analytical instruments and data interpretation.
• Wet chemistry or ink formulation experience.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems in fast-paced product development.
• Ability to interact remotely with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and technical skills.
• Fluency in English.
