Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Ink Blender at our Appleton, WI facility. You will estimate, mix, and color-match inks, maintain accurate records, and support the Press Department using X-Rite color management technology.

Responsibilities include monitoring ink usage, weighing and forming formulations, managing inventory, and providing color samples to Customer Service. Physical stamina for 12-hour shifts and strict safety compliance are required.

  • Cross-train in other departments and equipment as needed.
  • Adhere to GMP and Prerequisite Program requirements to ensure safe food packaging.
  • Awareness of and adherence to EHS policies and procedures.

Pay: $25-$29 per hour, based on experience

Additional Compensation: 1.5x pay for all Sunday hours worked 1.5x pay for Over Time $1.20/hour night shift premium

Schedule: 2-2-3 nights (7:00pm-7:00am)

Position Overview

Join Amcor as an Ink Blender and play a key role in producing high-quality inks that meet customer specifications. In this role, you'll estimate, mix, and color-match inks, maintain accurate records, and provide support to the Press Department using X-Rite color management technology.

What You Will Do

  • Comply with all 5S, Cleaning, Lubrication, Inspection & Tightening (CILT) requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience using Novaflow software

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs. as needed
  • Ability to stand and walk for 12-hour shifts
  • Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting
  • Frequent use of hands and wrists
  • Frequent stepping on and off platforms
  • Occasional extended reaching away from the body
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
