Job summary

Amcor Lebanon Plant in the United States seeks a Printing Press Assistant to support production of high-quality packaging. You will prep inks, substrates, plates and assist the Press Operator to monitor color and quality while maintaining safety and 5S housekeeping.

This full-time, night-shift role offers 12-hour shifts, a night shift premium, and benefits from day one; growth opportunities and a strong values-driven culture. Previous manufacturing experience and basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software.
• Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including measurement devices and color discrimination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inks, substrates, plates, cylinders, gears, etc. for scheduled job.
• Assist Press Operator in monitoring the product to ensure quality.
• Knowledge and ability to perform make-readies.
• Participate in the operation of the press with the ability to operate if needed.
• Order, Charge, and Return raw materials to each job as needed.
• Complete necessary daily paperwork.
• Complete 5S/housekeeping logs.
• Follow and be held accountable for adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Remove and identify all scrap except flying splices before master rolls get moved to WIP area
• All other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor and/or Management
