Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. in Albany, Oregon seeks an Injury Prevention Specialist and Wellness Coordinator on a per diem basis to advance employee health, prevent injuries, and promote cardiovascular wellness.

This on-site role involves ergonomic assessments, wellness coaching, data tracking, and collaboration with CMD and client programs. A Bachelor’s in a related field and CPR/First Aid certification are required; Master’s and BOC certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Licensed athletic trainer (BOC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid first aid and medical care during clinic hours.
• Coordinate care with WorkCare CMD and policies.
• Conduct ergonomic evaluations and injury prevention programs.
• Support wellness coaching and health promotion initiatives.
• Assist with health surveillance, screenings, and data reporting.
• Maintain clinic operations and supplies.
