Job summary

Lasko Products seeks an Injection Technician to set up and troubleshoot molding equipment, optimize cycle times, and inspect parts for quality. You will coordinate with maintenance and mold teams, monitor production data, and document scrap and purge in the system.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of injection experience, robotics familiarity, and training in scientific molding. A hybrid/onsite manufacturing role with a focus on safety and efficiency is offered.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent. Technical education/background.
• 3-5 years’ Injection Technician experience.
• Team player who can relate to employees at all levels.
• Experience with robotics systems and ability to set-up, troubleshoot and start-up injection molding equipment.
• Familiarity with Milacron and ENGEL equipment up to 1000 ton.
• Completed Scientific molding training at level II minimum.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start-up, troubleshoot, and monitor injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects.
• Adjust machines, injection pressure, and cycle times for various plastics to ensure quality.
• Notify maintenance/supervisor of issues with equipment or molds.
• Monitor production software for stoppages, non-conforming cycles, and mold changes.
• Enter scrap data and purge information into the monitoring system.
