Silgan Specialty Packaging in Triadelphia, West Virginia is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to help ensure product safety and quality across the packaging line. You will prepare production paperwork, start-up and operate packaging machines, collect and count parts, and perform quality checks to support conformance with established standards while adhering to safety rules.

You will identify nonconformities, report issues to the Shift QA, maintain printers and labelers, seal and label boxes, and

Prepare production paperwork for machine start-up and operation.
Monitor machine operation to ensure parts are collected into storage boxes and are counted correctly.
Pull shots for quality checks following machine re-starts or as needed.
Identify nonconformities and inform the Shift QA.
Evaluate product to ensure high quality and conformance with established standards.
Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
Evaluate and document machine performance.
Maintain ink in printers and labels in labelers. Un-jam assemblers as needed.
Tape boxes shut, label the boxes, and stack for shipment.
Prepare paperwork at the end of the shift for the following shift, noting any problems or exceptions that occurred.
Maintain a clean and safe working area.
Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures
