Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking an Injection Operator to manage day-to-day operation of PET and HDPE injection equipment at our Louisville plant. You will perform setup, minor adjustments, and quality checks while documenting logs and ensuring safety and cleanliness throughout the production areas.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, ability to operate multiple machines, and familiarity with resin types. We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in field or similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating multiple manufacturing machines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up and run injection equipment daily.
• Perform minor adjustments with approval; do not perform mechanical work without approval.
• Accurately complete logs and quality forms for inspections.
• Identify unsafe conditions and follow safety rules with PPE as required.
• Conduct visual and mechanical quality checks to meet standards.
• Maintain housekeeping in all production areas including break/rest rooms.
• Understand resins differences and identify safe parts for grinding/reuse.
• Troubleshoot minor production equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance.
