Job summary

Silgan Closures in Champaign, IL is seeking an Molding Technician to maintain and optimize high-speed molding equipment on a 12-hour day shift.

You will perform preventative maintenance, ensure parts meet quality and safety standards, and document activities per GMP/HACCP guidelines while collaborating with production, maintenance and management teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a molding technician or related maintenance role.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to set up, process, and troubleshoot molding machinery.
