Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of the injection molding process and scientific molding principles.
• 1–2 years of molding set up and/or processing experience preferred.
• Above-average communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Set up injection molding machines following SUWI and production schedule.
• Troubleshoot injection molding process problems.
• Optimize process parameters including automation settings to reduce cycle times.
• Maintain open communication between Production and Process Engineering.
• Maintain a clean, organized manufacturing area following 5S standards.
• Provide needed equipment at the workstation and supply materials as needed.
• Assist Lean/Six Sigma initiatives within the facility.
