Job summary

You will oversee operators and technicians, coordinate with engineering and maintenance, and champion safety and continuous improvement across the molding operations. The role requires at least 3 years of supervisory experience in plastics manufacturing and hands-on expertise with injection molding equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with injection molding processes, equipment, and materials.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to supervise and manage other employees (interview, train, assign, direct, counsel and motivate).

Responsibilities

• Leads by example and supervises molding team activity.
• Directs molding through supervision of operators, material handlers, mold setup technicians, and process technicians.
• Supports cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Maintenance, Tooling, Processing, and Quality to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Uses IQMS for job-related activities and data collection.
• Executes Lean principles to drive cycle-time reductions and process improvements.
