Job summary

The Panther Group is seeking experienced Injection Molding Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shifts in Massachusetts. This hands-on role requires independent setup, troubleshooting, and support of injection molding production in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include mold changes, machine setup, process troubleshooting, and collaboration with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on injection molding processing experience 5+ years.
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines.
• Experience performing mold changes and machine setups independently.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with ERP systems in manufacturing.
• Regulated manufacturing experience (medical device preferred).

Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing, is seeking experienced Injection Molding Technicians to join their team on 2nd and 3rd shifts. This is a hands-on opportunity for experienced technicians who can independently set up, troubleshoot, and support injection molding production.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machines
• Perform mold changes and job changeovers independently
• Troubleshoot processing and machine issues
• Make process adjustments within established parameters
• Monitor machine performance, cycle times, and process stability
• Set up and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment
• Respond to machine alarms and production issues
• Support robotics and automated manufacturing equipment
• Complete required production and process documentation
• Work with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve manufacturing issues
• Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Hands-on injection molding processing experience 5+ years of injection molding experience
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines
• Experience performing mold changes and machine setups independently
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and respond to production issues
• High school diploma or GED
• Plastic injection molding experience
• Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift
• Medical device or other regulated manufacturing experience
• Scientific molding or process troubleshooting experience
• RJG/Master Molder or other plastics processing training
• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems

Preferred

• Experience with robotics, automation, or auxiliary equipment

Pay: $27 - $35.50 / hour W2 depending on shift and experience
