Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a knowledgeable technician to support in mold installation, setup, and changeovers on plastic injection molding equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will tune process parameters to ensure product quality and efficiency, start up production, and troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities include verifying molds and cooling systems, documenting changes, and collaborating with Quality, Maintenance and Production teams to minimize downtime

Qualifications

• Technical degree preferred in mechanical tech or related field.
• Prior mold/setup and plastic injection experience required.
• Ability to read work instructions and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold installation, removal, and changeovers on injection molding machines.
• Set up and adjust process parameters for quality and efficiency.
• Execute mold, machine, and auxiliary equipment setups before start-up.
• Verify operation of molds, cooling systems, and production equipment.
• Conduct production start-ups and adjust processes to meet specs.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot deviations.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance and Production to minimize downtime.
• Document mold changes, parameters, and production activities.
• Support continuous improvement focused on productivity and waste reduction.
