Job summary

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP is seeking a Tool and Die Maker (Injection Molding) to join our team in Puerto Rico and the mainland USA. You will work with a skilled crew in a world‑class manufacturing environment, performing maintenance and repairs on molds and related equipment.

Responsibilities include fabricating spare parts, documenting repairs and PMs, keeping the work area clean and safe, and ensuring parts inventory is controlled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school or vocational training.
• At least one year of technical college.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Able to set-up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other basic machine shop equipment.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and make parts per print requirements.
• Control spare parts and documentation.
• 1st shift (8:00am-4:30pm), with potential to cover (2:30pm–11:00pm).

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and repair to all molds in a timely fashion with minimum errors.
• Make spare parts for molds and other machine equipment as needed.
• Provide documentation on repairs, PM reports, and material usage to tool room supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Ensure all work areas are kept orderly and clean.
• Bring and use the necessary tools for the job.
• Maintain spare parts, materials, inventory and documentation.
