Quality Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Mold/Injection M molding technician to join a world-class manufacturing team in the USA and Puerto Rico. You will perform mold changes, machine setups, and process adjustments to ensure high-quality production.

Applicants should have a technical degree and hands-on experience with molding equipment, along with strong troubleshooting and documentation skills. The role emphasizes safety and continuous improvement across departments.

Qualifications

Experience with mold setup and plastic injection molding operations.
Knowledge of resin processing parameters and injection molding processes.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Perform mold installation, removal, and changeovers on plastic injection molding machines per production schedules.
Set up and adjust machine process parameters to ensure quality and efficiency.
Execute machine, mold, and auxiliary equipment set-ups prior to production start-up.
Verify proper operation of molds, cooling systems, and production equipment.
Perform production start-ups and make process adjustments to meet specifications.
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot deviations as needed.
Identify and resolve issues related to molds, equipment, and processes.
Complete documentation related to mold changes and production activities.
Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production to minimize downtime.
Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and waste reduction.
