Job summary

HARTING USA is seeking a 2nd Shift Process Technician for our Injection Molding operations at our Elgin, IL regional headquarters. The role focuses on executing molding plans, setting up processes, and mentoring staff to maintain high-quality output.

You will work with engineering to meet customer specifications, optimize cycles, and ensure safety and efficiency per ISO 9001 standards. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of injection molding machine experience.
• Knowledge of thermoplastics and resins.
• Experience with molding automation, robotics, sensors, PLCs.
• English language proficiency required.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot injection molding machines.
• Perform mold set-up and changes per production schedule.
• Adjust process parameters and inspect quality.
• Coordinate with external tool shops for repairs.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
