Job summary

Comar in Wisconsin seeks a Manufacturing Production Operator III or Setup Mechanic to operate and set up injection molding equipment and packaging lines. You will ensure products meet quality specs, document processes, and troubleshoot issues on a fast-paced line.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent graduate with 2+ years of related experience as Production Operator III or Setup Mechanic.
• Proficient in basic computer use and quick to learn new systems.
• Knowledge of raw materials and product quality specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment required for molding processes and packaging.
• Set up molds and establish process parameters from documentation.
• Start up machines to produce quality product within validated processes.
• Run injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment per specs.
• Perform safe tool and machine set-up and maintain process capabilities.
• Complete quality management system documentation during startups.
• Troubleshoot quality/part issues and identify root causes.
• Verify process parameters before startup and ensure validated operation.
• Identify machine problems and communicate with maintenance.
• Resolve mold and secondary packing equipment issues.
• Work with team to keep equipment running during breaks.
• Inspect product and determine quality outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow GMP.
