Job summary

Prysmian-Group is seeking a Process Technician for injection molding in North Las Vegas, NV. You will be responsible for safe start-up, shut down, and troubleshooting of injection molding during production runs, including tooling setup and changeovers.

You will collect and analyze production and quality data to support problem solving and continuous improvement in production and purchasing. Strong mechanical skills and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capacity to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform tooling changes per schedule, including setting dryers and thermolators.
• Ensure first piece inspection is complete and product is in conformance before full production.
• Monitor running machines and keep process documentation up to date.
• Make process adjustments; identify issues with material, tooling or machine.
• Collaborate with shift leadership and maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts for injection molding.
