Job summary

Prysmian-Group in North Las Vegas is seeking a Junior Process Technician to set up and operate molding and finishing equipment, ensuring production schedules are met and products are manufactured safely and efficiently.

The role supports preventative maintenance and direct manufacturing activities to ensure high-quality parts are produced. Strong English skills, a High School diploma or GED, and three years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in molding plastics processing and maintenance.
• Experience in machine start-up and shutdown.
• Able to lift 30/50 pounds.
• High School graduate or GED.
• Must be able to speak, read/comprehend, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate material handling, molding, finishing, and assembly equipment.
• Responsible for mold change and machine adjustments.
• Start up and shut down molding machines.
• Operate forklift to do mold changes.
• Use forklift to move and organize molds.
• Fill out daily process records to control machine running conditions.
• Perform minor repairs and change inserts as necessary.
• Monitor production quantities for color changes, mold changes and product completions.
• Promote safety, quality and 5S housekeeping in the area of responsibility.
