Job summary

Prysmian in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Junior Process Technician to set up and operate molding and finishing equipment, ensuring production schedules, quality and safety. You will perform mold changes, monitor output, and document processes daily.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, attention to detail, and ability to work with production teams to optimize efficiency while upholding 5S and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three 3 + years of related molding plastics processing and maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in machine start-up and shutdown. Knowledge of essential machine functions.
• Able to lift to 30 / 50 pounds.
• Basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of material handling, molding, finishing, and assembly equipment.
• Responsible for mold change and machine adjustments.
• Start up and shut down the molding machines.
• Operate forklift to do mold changes and move molds.
• Maintain daily process records to control machine running conditions.
• Inspect machines hourly to ensure quality parts and reduce scrap.
• Provide recommendations to engineering for process improvements.
