Job summary

SnapLock Industries, Inc. in Salt Lake City seeks a Process Technician to join the team. You will work with injection molding machines, ensuring processes run smoothly and parts meet quality standards while performing maintenance and process improvement tasks.

The role focuses on troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with production and support teams on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing facility maintenance and related equipment.
• 2 years of experience with injection molding.
• Knowledge of chilled water systems.
• Experience with basic hand tools and precision measuring tools.
• Electrical knowledge in control circuits.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety requirements and policies; correct issues when found.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair molding process equipment.
• General maintenance duties in the manufacturing plant.
• Support preventative maintenance and daily repairs of equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors on production goals.
• Start up and shut down production equipment and systems.
• Document molding parameters using scientific molding principles.
• Identify defects and adjust molding processes accordingly.
• Assist with mold and insert changes per schedule.
• Support quality, safety, and ISO compliance.
