Job summary

Valeo is hiring a Line Setter in its Process Engineering organization in Smyrna, GA. The role works the 2nd Shift (2PM–10:30PM) with overtime as needed, focusing on injection molding line setup, maintenance, and improvements.

You will troubleshoot molding issues, operate equipment, manage overhead cranes, and collaborate on reducing cycle time and scrap while ensuring process standards and safe operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of experience with new mold set-up and plastic injection molding machines.
• At least 2 years of experience identifying injection defects after manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot injection molding process related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Operate and maintain injection molding process equipment.
• Operate overhead crane.
• Maintain injection process standards.
• Collaborate with the injection team to identify and implement improvements related to TRP, cycle time, and scrap.
• Ability to start a robot.

What You Should Have
