Job summary

General Machine Products Company is seeking a skilled Process Technician to manage all aspects of the injection molding process, including setup, startup, shutdown, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance. You will direct and monitor the production schedule, perform mold and material changes, and ensure part conformity and quality through inspections and process adjustments.

This 2nd shift position runs from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM at our Mansfield, TX facility, with a competitive total rewards

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience setting up and operating injection molding machines and robots.
Experience diagnosing process issues and maintaining uptime on machines.
Must read/write/speak basic English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Ability to read measuring devices and blueprints.
Master Molder certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate and troubleshoot the injection molding process, including startup, shutdown, and maintenance.
Direct and monitor production schedule; perform mold/material changes as needed.
Inspect parts and ensure conformity; adjust processes for quality.
Collaborate with Engineering on new molds and material sampling.
Verify startup/process documents and changeover checklists.
Set up support equipment and perform other duties related to production.
