Job summary

Henpen Consultants is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician for a growing precision plastics manufacturer in the Greater Chicago Area, IL. The role is full-time, on-site, with competitive hourly pay and a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:30 p.m.

to midnight. You will perform mold setups, troubleshoot processes to reduce scrap, document settings, and partner with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues, while training operators and supporting continuous

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on plastic injection molding setup, processing, and troubleshooting experience.
• Understanding of scientific molding principles and injection mold design.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to explain process adjustments.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and attention to safety.
• Robotics, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), and automation experience preferred.

Responsibilities
