Job summary

Pentair is hiring a Molding Process Technician for the 1st shift in Delavan, WI. You will develop and optimize molding processes for new and existing products in the Injection Molding department, and support mold validations and process documentation.

You will collaborate with the IM Manufacturing Engineer and team leadership to troubleshoot issues, improve safety and quality, and guide operators on process updates and part quality; you may participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical role in an injection molding environment.
• Experience with mold, robot, and machine setup and/or troubleshooting.
• Strong molding process development knowledge.
• Understanding of Lean principles and Continuous Flow Manufacturing.
• Ability to document procedures and set-up/calibration standards.
• Proficient in using part inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve molding processes for new or existing products.
• Assist with creation of standard operating procedures for new or existing products.
• Execute mold validations through PPAP and Orange Packet processes and document support.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues; support safety and quality improvements.
• Guide operators and setup technicians on part quality and process updates.
• Adhere to Pentair Quality Management System and pursue continuous improvements.
