Job summary

Pentair in Delavan, Wisconsin is seeking a Molding Process Technician for 1st shift to develop and optimize injection molding processes, support new product rollouts, and assist with tool and equipment repairs.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, documentation, and collaboration with engineers to improve safety, quality, and productivity. Competitive hourly wage starts at $38 per hour plus opportunities for increases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an Injection Molding environment.
• Mold, robot and machine setup and/or troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge on molding process development.
• Basic understanding of Continuous Flow Manufacturing and lean principles.
• Experience with part inspection equipment and related tools.
• Able to write technical documentation for process capability and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve molding processes for new or existing products by supporting production daily.
• Assist the Manufacturing Engineer with creation of standard operating procedures.
• Execute mold validations and support documentation for production.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day issues and support the team as needed.
• Identify improvements to increase Safety and Quality for customers and associates.
• Validate processes for part quality and cycle times to reduce scrap and improve productivity.
• Assist in root cause analysis for non-conformities and support corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to operators and shift leads on quality or tooling concerns.
• Support continuous improvements and training opportunities.
