Job summary

SURGE Staffing invites applications for a mechanical/industrial engineer to support plant and corporate programs. You will drive productivity improvements, standardize processes, install new equipment, and assist in new product introductions and mold/tooling optimization.

You will collaborate with E&TS and machine suppliers to maintain and improve molding operations, safety, quality, and delivery performance. A strong background in molding processes and project leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of molding processes and equipment.
• Experience with SPC systems and process improvement.
• Project management experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plant production and QA while maximizing machine performance, safety and quality.
• Drive development and implementation in SPC systems and material advances with E&TS.
• Develop and update preventative maintenance for molds and injection molding machines with E&TS and suppliers.
