Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking an experienced Mold Engineer in Bryan, TX to support plant production, quality assurance, and equipment performance. You will drive process improvements, implement SPC and new materials, and coordinate maintenance with E&TS and suppliers.

The role emphasizes development of mold tooling, procedures, and collaboration across teams to ensure safety, productivity, and on-time delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in molding/production environments.
• Strong project management and process improvement skills.
• Extensive knowledge of molding equipment, materials, and mold tooling.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operate across plant assets.

Responsibilities

• Support plant production and quality assurance while maintaining processes and machine performance.
• Drive development and implementation of SPC systems and material advances with E&TS.
• Develop and update preventative maintenance for molds and molding machines with E&TS and suppliers.
• Identify product and process improvements and support mold/equipment repairs.
• Provide ongoing technical support to ensure safety, productivity, quality, and delivery goals.
• Assist in evaluating components for new products and testing with new molds/equipment.
• Coordinate Pro-T-Con activities for process, product, and equipment improvements.
• Create standard operating procedures for molding machines and related equipment.
