The role involves hands-on work on presses, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and frequent travel to launches and tool trials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on injection molding/process engineering experience.
• Scientific molding experience or formal molding training beneficial.
• Experience with new molds, tool trials, launches, process optimization, or troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop injection molding processes for new molds and programs.
• Lead mold trials, process development, troubleshooting, and launch support.
• Apply scientific molding to establish repeatable processing windows.
• Collaborate with tooling, automation, plant engineering, technicians, and operations.
• Support equipment across a broad network (approx. 100–4,000 tons).
• Establish a stable process and hand it off with sustaining knowledge.
• Travel to other facilities and tool trials as launches require.
• Help build common process engineering practices across plants.
