Job summary

Aptar Italia S.P.A. is seeking a Press Maintenance Technician to oversee installation, operation, and upkeep of industrial equipment, especially injection molding presses.

You will ensure smooth production by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs across press systems. Your role requires strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical knowledge, with a focus on minimizing downtime and maintaining GMP/SQF safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

Advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and time management.
Experience with injection molding press systems preferred (Husky, Milacron, Krauss).

Responsibilities

Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical blueprints.
Install new production equipment.
Service and maintain equipment including plastic molding presses and conveyors.
Inspect functionality of production machines and troubleshoot breakdowns.
Document repairs, maintenance activities & quality checks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve press equipment issues.
Dismantle, inspect and overhaul equipment as required by PM schedules.
