AptarGroup, Inc. is seeking a Press Maintenance Technician to oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of industrial equipment, focusing on injection molding presses. You will ensure smooth machine operation, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot breakdowns to maximize production uptime.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and safe work practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to ongoing equipment improvements

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and maintenance practices.
• Experience with injection molding press systems preferred (Husky, Milacron, Krauss).
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and GMP/ SQF procedures.
• Excellent troubleshooting and time-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical blueprints.
• Install new production equipment and service/maintain presses and related systems.
• Develop/improve preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Inspect and assess functionality of production machines and systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical breakdowns.
