Job summary

Aptar Italia S.P.A. is seeking a Toolroom Technician to disassemble, clean, and reassemble molds, perform simple machining, and support preventive maintenance in the molding facilities.

The role involves basic troubleshooting of hot runner systems and hydraulic components, with duties across the tool room and press environments. A detail‑oriented candidate with mechanical aptitude is preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and math ability demonstrated by test.
• Physical ability to perform activities in the Tool Room.
• Ability to perform simple machining.
• Blueprint knowledge and familiarity with tool room machines helpful.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly of molds, cleaning of mold components and reassembly of molds with guidance from tool maker.
• Simple machining within individual capability.
• Cleaning and changing washer units and coolant tanks.
• Perform preventative maintenance of molding rooms.
• Perform pin changes and complex conversions in multi-cavity tooling in both press and Tool Room.
• Participate in a machine maintenance program and general housekeeping.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting of Hot Runners and Hot Runner Controllers.
• Hydraulic cylinder maintenance and repair.
• All other duties as assigned.
