Job summary

Silgan Specialty Packaging LLC is seeking a dependable operator to support our high-volume packaging lines. You will monitor machine performance, perform quality checks, and ensure correct counting and labeling of packaged products.

The role requires strict adherence to safety rules and strong attention to detail to prevent nonconformities. The position involves preparing papers for the next shift, maintaining printers and labelers, and keeping the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Experience following safety protocols and quality standards.
• Ability to monitor equipment and perform basic checks.
• Attention to detail in counting parts and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machine operation to collect parts into storage boxes and ensure correct counts.
• Pull shots for quality checks after restarts or as needed.
• Identify nonconformities and inform Shift QA.
• Maintain ink in printers and labels in labelers; un-jam assemblers as needed.
• Tape and label boxes, stack for shipment, and prepare end-of-shift paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
