Job summary

Atkore in Dallas, TX is seeking an Injection Molding Operator to tend molding machines, package parts, and support daily production goals. The role reports to the Molding Manager and requires basic math, ability to lift 35 pounds, and attention to detail.

Prior machine operating and forklift experience is a plus, with opportunities for advancement to a Molding Technician. The position includes benefits such as medical and dental insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Preferred is a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• Experience reading and interpreting work orders.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted.
• Attention to detail, time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Tend machines and equipment within the molding department.
• Process paperwork and operate a forklift as required.
• Assist toward becoming a Molding Technician with preventative maintenance and mold/tool changes.
• Follow plant safety rules and wear PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe boots/shoes, gloves).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
