Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Machine Operator for a Mission, TX manufacturing facility. The role supports the production department with mold changes, line setup, and continuous-improvement activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years in an injection molding environment, and proficiency with electrical diagrams and process equipment. Competitive pay and shift options are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in an injection molding environment.
• Familiarity with connecting and troubleshooting water, hydraulic, and air lines, as well as hot runner controllers.
• Experience using material handling equipment such as cranes, hoists, pallet jacks, and tool carts.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes, including setup and removal, following safety guidelines.
• Connect and troubleshoot water, hydraulic, and air lines, as well as hot runner controllers.
• Install end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate mold and tool locations and prepare molds for production runs.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance, clean molds, and address mechanical or operational issues.
