Job summary

Blum USA is seeking an Injection Molding Operator for 1st shift (7am-3pm) to join our manufacturing team. You will support automated Engel machines, perform setups with technicians, and ensure material flow from warehouse to department.

A positive attitude and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have 2 years of experience with injection molding in industrial settings and must pass a physical capacity profile.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience with Injection Molding machines in manufacturing.
• Must pass a job-specific Physical Capacity Profile test.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setups and changeovers.
• Load correct raw materials into surge bins and keep color hoppers full.
• Transfer materials from warehouse to department.
• Perform incoming material inspection and documentation.
• Perform quality checks & documentation with KOMEG and maintain quality standards.
• Will work 1st shift Monday – Friday 7am-3pm.

We are seeking an energetic and hard-working 1 st shift Injection Molding Operator to join our growing team at Blum USA. This is a great opportunity to link your career with an established international company.

Job Responsibilities

Injection Molding Operators report to the department manager and work primarily with other department personnel (Maintenance Coordinator, Technical Specialists and other Molding Machine Operators) and occasionally with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Engineering. Our Operators are expected to be able to s upport the operation of fully automated Engel Injection Molding Machines.

Additional responsibilities for this position include:

• Assisting the technician with set ups & changeovers
• Select & load correct raw materials in surge bins & keep color hoppers full
• Transfer materials from warehouse to department
• Perform incoming material inspection & documentation
• Perform quality checks & documentation with KOMEG & maintain quality standards throughout all department processes
• Will work 1st shift Monday – Friday 7am-3pm

Job Requirements

To be successful in this type of position, we need team players who bring a positive attitude to the work place and enjoy being around and working with others. The ideal candidate will 2 years of relevant experience preferably working with Injection Molding machines in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Additional requirements for this position include:

• Candidate must pass a job specific Physical Capacity Profile test
• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred
• Constant sitting or standing
• Walks twists, turns, stoops or bends frequently
• Squats/Kneels occasionally
• Reaches frequently
• Performs overhead work occasionally
• Drives occasionally
• Lifts/Carries 26-50 lbs up to a distance of 5 feet, over 40 times per shift
• Pushes/Pulls 26-50 lbs up to a distance of 25 feet, over 40 times per shift
• Use both hands to move objects for 6-8 hours per day
• Use a simple grasp to pick up objects with both hands for 6-8 hours per day
• Use both hands to finely manipulate objects for 4-6 hours per day
