Job summary

Omega Plastics Inc is seeking a Material Handler for our Clinton Township, MI facility. The role involves handling resins and colorants, maintaining ERP-based inventory, and delivering materials to production equipment to ensure continuous operation.

This on-site position is Monday–Friday with some Saturdays, 7:30am–4:00pm, supporting 1st shift operations and on-site manufacturing activities at the Clinton Township location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• 1 year of experience as a Material Handler in a plastic injection molding environment is required.
• Forklift experience; training will be provided for certification.
• Ability to lift 55 pounds repeatedly during the day.

Responsibilities

• Move, handle, and track production materials and resins using ERP system.
• Deliver materials to injection molding machines and support changeovers and cleanups.
• Manage inventory and ensure proper usage of materials and molds.
• Operate fork lift and manual conveyance systems to move materials.
• Record receipts, material movements, and labeling in ERP.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow regulatory requirements.
